Dr. Kelly London was raised in Ventura County, California before attending California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo as an undergraduate Animal Science student. She then attended the University of California, Davis for veterinary school where she focused on equine medicine. While in veterinary school Dr. London attended the veterinary acupuncture course at the Chi Institute in Ocala, Florida and has since become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Giving back to the community has always been important to Dr. London and she also served with Christian Veterinary Mission in Honduras and at the Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the Homeless during veterinary school. After finishing her veterinary degree, Dr. London moved to Lexington, Kentucky where she completed an ambulatory internship working with large Thoroughbred farms, sport horses, and pleasure horses at Hagyard Equine Medical Center. After her internship, Dr. London joined Blue Skies in July 2018. Her professional interests include reproduction, preventative medicine, neonatology, ultrasound, and integrative medicine.
Growing up, Dr. London spent her summers exploring the many trails in the California coastal foothills on her Haflinger pony with her mom and sister. In college, Dr. London competed on her university’s dressage team and she hopes to train in dressage again. She now enjoys exploring with her Golden Retriever, Gracie, who loves hiking and swimming. Dr. London also enjoys reading, wine tasting, following Thoroughbred racing, and traveling with her family.
